Move Your Lymph for Breast Health!

Did you know that often times it is not the woman, but her sexual partner who first notices changes in the woman’s breast tissue?

This is because women have been taught not to touch our own bodies, god forbid that we might accidentally experience pleasure!  We are taught to touch our breasts only once a month to find disease.

Every 13 minutes a woman dies in this country of breast cancer.

Befriending our breasts is an important measure in cancer prevention. Instead of the monthly “search-and-destroy mission” of the old breast self-exam, breast self-massage helps us to get to know what is normal for our breasts in a proactive, loving and delicious way.

I found breast self-massage useful in dissolving old scar tissue from too many breast biopsies. Self-massage also took care of the lumpiness in my breasts. Breast self-massage has been an extremely empowering measure in my healing journey.

Moving lymphatic fluid is another benefit of breast massage. The lymphatic system, an important part of the body’s immune system, is stimulated by movement. Lymphatic fluid continuously bathes each cell, draining away debris. Deep breathing, exercise and massage are great ways to encourage lymph’s flow and to maintain the health of this essential system. The heart moves blood, but you move your lymphatic fluid.

Give your breasts a few minutes of loving attention everyday and you will experience a huge difference in the health of your breasts as well as your overall health and wellbeing.

Get moving!

Another way to move lymphatic fluid is using a rebounder. Rebounding moves your lymph and lifts your spirit! Feeling JOY helps cells to heal.

PS… this is an old video, yet it gives you all the instructions you need to get rebounding in little over 3 minutes.
